Position Summary Meritus is seeking armed security officers to support U.S. Naval infrastructure operations. Officers must be capable of meeting federal security standards, obtaining a national security clearance, and demonstrating a high level of professionalism and proficiency while performing armed protective services. Primary Responsibilities Provide armed security services at U.S. Naval facilities Protect personnel, property, and critical infrastructure Enforce access control and security protocols Respond to incidents and emergencies as required Maintain compliance with all federal, contract, and site-specific requirements Complete clear, accurate, and professional written reports Minimum Requirements U.S. citizen Minimum 21 years of age Minimum 2 years of security experience Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation Ability to obtain and maintain a national security clearance Must fluently speak, read, and write English Successfully pass: Medical evaluation Drug screening Education High school diploma or equivalent required DD214 required for prior military service (if applicable) Certifications & Credentials Valid driver's license CPR / First Aid / AED certification (company provided) Firearms certifications (company provided): M4 M9 M11 Mossberg 500 Defensive tools training (company provided): Baton (MEB) OC spray Handcuffs Benefits Meritus offers a comprehensive benefits and rewards program, including: Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Prescription drug coverage 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit Schedule Part-time Shifts may include: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts Day or night shifts Weekends and holidays Overtime as required Monday-Friday schedules may be available depending on operational needs Work Location Bayview, Idaho On-site only (remote work not available)
