Human Resources Coordinator - Nursing Home Come join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are seeking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator. $23 to $26 per hour based on skills and experience. 9am to 5pm; Monday - Friday. Human Resources Coordinator Introduction: The Human Resources Coordinator functions under the direction of the Director of Human Resources to provide support in administration of HR functions such as employee/labor relations, payroll, timekeeping, onboarding, recruitment, documents update, benefits, workers compensation, and other leaves. Human Resources Coordinator Qualifications: Associates degree in human resources or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources in a Skilled Nursing Facility required. Demonstrated intermediate skill with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), web-based database and recruiting software. Human Resources Coordinator Job Summary: Ensure that all employee files are updated regularly and contain copies of all Federal, State, Local, and internal forms. Conduct periodic employee files and other data audits. Assist in payroll preparation by ensuring employee data is updated correctly. Review exceptions report for lateness and missed timeclock punches and prepare documentation for disciplinary actions. Be the front-line face for daily employee support in answering general HR questions. Ensure that all New Hires have the necessary computer access, work email, etc. In cooperation with the HR Department, manage the recruiting and onboarding function. Assist with the Worker Compensation claims and other leaves filling process. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
