The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Battle Creek region seeking HR Generalists. Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle recruitment for production, skilled trades, and administrative roles. Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and various training programs, including safety and compliance. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, generating reports as needed. Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and performance improvement plans. Assist with compensation and benefits administration, addressing employee inquiries and facilitating enrollment. Recommended Qualifications3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, specifically in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations relevant to manufacturing operations. Proven ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Experience with full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for diverse roles, from production to professional staff. Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology platforms.
