Job Title: Certified Respiratory Therapist Location: Batavia, NY Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team in Batavia, NY for a 13-week night shift assignment. The CRT will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients across all age groups in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians. Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and other life-support systems. Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling, analysis, and interpretation. Provide emergency respiratory support, including during code blue situations. Assess patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Requirements: Active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. Current New York State Respiratory Therapy license. BLS certification (ACLS preferred). Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital-based CRT experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
