We have a fun work environment that encourages creative thinking and problem solving. Assistant Manger Position In this position, you will be working on the sales floor directly with the customers. You will be assisting customers with their needs and assisting in solving their problems. You will be working with our store manager and will be expected to fulfill our mission and achieve our priorities and goals. Outside of working with our customers you will be expected to help ordering and stocking products, cleaning and maintaining the organization of the store. Being knowledgeable about the products we sell is an important part of the job. We will train you one on one as well as through online training in all departments and aspects of the store. There are many different services that we offer, and we will train you so you can better assist the customers and help solve their problems. Key tasks Greeting customers Assisting customers to products Assisting management and ownership Assisting the customers to find solutions to their problems Operating a point of sales system Stocking shelves Cleaning the store and organizing products Learning and offering product knowledge Assisting in the operations and goals of the store Ordering Other tasks Key cutting Paint mixing Color matching paint Glass cutting Shade cutting Assembling products Driving and delivering products Assisting in opening and closing procedures Opening and Closing Key Skill and requirements Positive attitude Excellent customer service skills Friendly and personable Great communication skills Leadership skills Carry up to 70lb Knowledge of hardware is a plus but not imperative Desire to learn Expectation It is our expectation of our managers to be focused on fulfilling our mission and achieving our priorities and goals.
