Job Description:
Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking a BC/BE physician (MD or DO) to join our Community Care and Geriatrics service as a per diem provider providing coverage for a Skowhegan facility. PCHC's Community Care and Geriatrics (CCG) service provides care for the adult and geriatric population in area nursing homes, long-term care facilities and assisted living facilities in Bangor and surrounding areas, including Belfast, Camden, and Skowhegan. Geriatricians, family medicine, or internal medicine physicians with special interest in geriatrics welcome to inquire. Join an established and growing Community Care and Geriatrics (CCG) service based in Bangor. The position is planned as per diem, one day per week, 8-10-hour day. The specific day of the week is TBD. Having a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required. Any concerns raised by the results of a driving record check will be subject to an individualized review to determine whether the infraction is relevant to the individual's ability to perform the responsibilities of the position, in accordance with PCHC's Automobile Safety and Background Check policy.
