Leasing Specialist

CSP is partnering with a premier developer in the Mid-Atlantic in their search for an experienced Leasing Specialist to support the successful lease-up and ongoing occupancy of their multifamily residential communities. This position serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and plays a key role in driving leasing performance while delivering a high standard of customer service.Key Responsibilities:Execute all leasing activities to support lease-up goals and maximize occupancyRespond to prospect inquiries via phone, email, text, chat, and in-person interactionsConduct property tours, qualify prospects, and convert tours into executed leasesAccurately process rental applications, including verification, approval, and documentationPrepare lease agreements, move-in packages, and coordinate resident move-insPerform unit walk-throughs to ensure readiness for occupancyMaintain detailed and accurate records of traffic, leasing activity, and prospect follow-upBuild and maintain relationships through community outreach, broker engagement, and leasing eventsAssist with market surveys, competitive analysis, and leasing performance reportsEnsure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and lease requirementsMaintain the appearance and condition of the leasing office, tour path, and model unitsConsistently meet or exceed individual and property leasing goalsQualifications:Minimum of three (3) years of residential leasing experience, preferably in luxury high-rise or mid-rise communitiesExperience in at minimum one lease-up, preferably 2-3Bachelor's degree in a related field preferredStrong customer service, sales, and closing skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)Experience with property management software required; Yardi experience strongly preferredWorking knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and leasing compliance standardsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with onsite and corporate teamsDemonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and attention to detailCommitment to maintaining a professional appearance and organized work environmentAdherence to safety protocols and established leasing procedures
