About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on, people-focused HR Generalist to support our fast-paced distribution center in Baltimore. This role is critical in delivering day-to-day HR operations while fostering a positive, safety-first culture. You'll partner closely with local DC leadership and collaborate with an overarching HR support team.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in an operational environment, enjoys being on the floor supporting employees, and can balance administrative excellence with strong interpersonal impact.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & AdministrationManage day-to-day HR administration for the distribution centerSupport employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, documentation, records management)Maintain accurate employee data and reporting within ADP (core HRIS/payroll system)Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws, policies, and internal proceduresPayroll & HR SystemsCoordinate and process payroll inputs accurately and on time using ADPPartner with payroll teams to resolve discrepancies and employee inquiriesEnsure compliance with wage and hour regulations and payroll best practicesBenefits Administration & ComplianceAdminister employee benefits programs (enrollment, changes, terminations)Serve as primary contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolutionSupport open enrollment processes and employee communicationsLead and support ACA compliance and annual reporting requirements (e.g., 1094-C/1095-C)Recruitment & Talent SupportLead hourly recruiting efforts for the distribution centerCoordinate interviews, hiring processes, and onboardingPartner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs in a timely mannerSupport broader recruiting initiatives as capacity allowsEmployee Relations & Day-to-Day SupportAct as a primary HR contact for employees on-siteProvide guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace concernsSupport a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culturePartner with leadership to address performance and employee relations mattersHealth & SafetyPromote and support a strong safety culture within the DCPartner with leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standardsParticipate in safety initiatives, training, and incident follow-upCross-Border CollaborationWork closely with HR team for alignment on processes and best practicesSupport broader HR and recruiting projects across the organization as needed
