Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience. • 3 months of travel experience is required. • Experience with Cerner is preferred. • Experience with GE Mac-Lab is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Interventional Cath, Cardiac Stent Placement, Scrub, Right & Left Heart catheterization, Rotablader, Thrombectomy, Stents, PCI, PTCA, and Balloon Angioplasty. Cardiac Cath Lab experience includes right and left heart caths, stents, angioplasty, FFR, Rotablator/Rotablader, PFO closures, TAVR, and structural heart. Preferred Skills/Experience: Acute Monitoring, Room Circulator, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR. Use of ACIST device preferred. Shift & Scheduling: Call required: 1 to 2 call shifts during the weeknight, Monday-Friday, and 3-24 hour weekend call shift per month. Start Date: 5/4 Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If clinician has questions, please email the AM. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (see JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure. For MD locations – You must have compact license or MD license. Previous Employment Requirements: Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler. 7 days maximum time off.
