Baltimore Street/nBaltimore, MD 21201/n/n/nHybrid schedule available (up to 3 telework days permitted each week)/n POSITION DUTIES The Data and Research/nCoordinator in the Division of Student Support and Federal Programs partners/nwith program leadership to design data processes, analyze program data, and/ngenerate reports that support compliance, program planning, performance monitoring,/nand informed decision-making across programs. The Coordinator provides/nleadership and technical assistance to the Divisions within the agency, local/neducation agencies (LEAs), State Agencies (SAs) and external service providers/nin acquiring, analyzing, and reporting student, school, and school system data,/nand using data for program improvement. The Coordinator trains MSDE staff, LEA/nstaff, SA staff and external service providers to collect, organize, interpret/nand use program data. The Coordinator collaborates with program managers,/ndirectors, and coordinators to analyze and interpret program data, identify/ntrends and needs, and develop data-informed recommendations that support/ncontinuous program improvement and strategic decision-making./n/n/nResponsibilities include:/n/n/n Provide leadership and/n technical assistance to division staff and external partners./n Design data collection systems/n tailored to program staff needs./n Analyze, interpret, and/n summarize findings in written reports and oral presentations./n Design and deliver/n presentations, collaborative meetings, and training for MSDE leadership,/n program staff, LEAs, SA's, and external partners on effective data use for/n program improvement./n Coordinate the collection,/n analysis, and reporting of all program data to comply with State and Federal/n reporting./n Oversee statewide data/n collection, verification, analysis, and reporting related to federal programs, student/n safety, and school health./n/n/n MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS /nEducation:A Master's degree or the/nequivalent of 36 credit hours of post-baccalaureate coursework from an/naccredited college or university./n/n/nExperience:Five years of administrative or teaching experience in, or/naffiliated with, an education program./n/n/nNotes:/n1. Candidates may substitute a Bachelor's/ndegree and two additional years of experience directly related to the position/noption for the required education./n/n/n2. Candidates may substitute the possession of/na Doctorate degree at an accredited college or university in a field related to/nthe position for one year of the required experience./n/n/n3. The required field of education and/nexperience are unique for each option and are established by MSDE in accordance/nwith Education Article, Section 2-104 of the Annotated Code of Maryland. The specific education and experience/nqualifications for each position are on record in the Office of Human/nResources./n/n/n4.
