DescriptionWestern Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Imaging Scheduler/Financial Counselor (1.0 FTE). The Imaging Scheduler/Financial Counselor is responsible for obtaining all information necessary for the scheduling of appointments according to established protocols. This includes calling patients for reminders and prep, providing excellent customer service over the phone or in person, securing third party vendors for procedures if needed, verifying financial information prior to appointments, obtaining prior authorizations for procedures, performing general clerical work, and maintaining open lines of communication between Medical Imaging, physicians, billing, and other departments within the Hospital. The Imaging Scheduler/Financial Counselor will need to be able to triage a wide variety of questions and requests expertly and efficiently from patients, providers, other departments, and locations as presented by phone or in person.
