Job Description Title: Administrative Assistant Location: Avon, MN Note: First week will be fully onsite for training and onboarding. Hybrid schedule available afterward, typically 2-3 days onsite per week. Job Type: Contract (12 - 16 weeks) Note: Maternity Leave Coverage Anticipated Start Date: April 1, 2026 Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour (W2) Industry: Construction --- About the Role Our firm is partnering with a well-established organization in the construction and infrastructure industry to identify a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their claims and incident management operations during a maternity leave. This temporary opportunity is expected to last at least 12 weeks, with a strong possibility of extension to 16 weeks. This role plays a key part in ensuring incidents and claims are accurately documented, routed, and progressed in a timely manner. Job Description The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and coordination support for incident and claims activity, requiring frequent communication, strong data entry skills, and the ability to track and follow up on detailed information. Key responsibilities include: Triage incoming incident reports and claims, determine escalation needs, and route items to appropriate internal teams Process and track invoices related to claims and incidents Communicate with insurance carriers and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information and keep claims moving forward Perform high-volume, accurate data entry and maintain records within the incident management system Monitor claim status, follow up on open items, and assist with documentation tracking Support analysts and contribute to general claims-related administrative tasks Qualifications Required Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Teams Positive attitude with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Ability to manage frequent communication and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience working in a claims-focused environment (insurance, incident management, or risk management) Background in auto estimating or appraisal Experience with incident management systems; familiarity with Power UB is a strong plus Benefits Dahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family's needs.
