Job Description*** Hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts***The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Front and Back Service Operator to work at our food processing facility in Avon, NY Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.Benefits & Compensation Overview:We offer a variety of benefits depending on how you chose what is best for you, but what is offered are:Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Reimbursement Account/Health Savings Account.Additional perks: Pet Insurance, (EAP) Employee Assistance Program, Company paid Life Insurance, Company paid Short-term disability.Hourly pay starting at $21.54/hrA $1.25 shift differential for second or $2.50 shift differential for third shift.Paid Vacation TimeRole & Responsibilities:Back Service and Front Service operations are responsible for maintaining Lunchables incoming and outgoing materials.  Duties include:Verifying all incoming materials using production schedule and BOM to ensure integrity and traceabilityRequest, retrieve, and stage materials to the line within QA and GMP within specificationsMaintaining a safe work recordAccountable for traceability and accuracy of materials usage paperwork and verification signaturesProper labeling and accurate inventory of return materials to DSWRotation of Back service and Front service position on the determined frequency of the shiftDaily/WeeklyMust successfully complete the current written and hands-on training requirements for BR5a classified positionsCommunicate any quality issues and concernsClearing denester jams and basic operation using proper safety precautionsHand pack and load cases to palletizer when needed (Back service)Support run-through breaks when neededQualify for basic operation of equipment, including using proper safety precautionsJam clearingStop and restartLoading materialsBasic operation and troubleshootingHelp maintain housekeeping of areas (pallets, etc.)Complete and verify proper start-up and shutdown procedureResponsible for the sanitation of all related machinery, workstations, equipment, floors, drains, including disassembly and transporting parts off line for cleaning and reassembly after cleaning.Will perform a post-cleaning inspection of areas cleaned.Must be certified /licensed in the operation of Big Joe/Walkie, Scissors Lift, Fall Protection, ladder use, and perform required daily safety inspections and battery changes as needed.Responsible for the disposal of all trash and recyclable materials in the production area.Responsible for the removal of all products and components from the work area and place in appropriate storage areas prior to the beginning of sanitation activities.Responsible for the knowledge, use, and safe handling of all chemicals and associated equipment used in cleaning, rinsing, and sanitation of the line and surrounding areas.Periodic cleaning of the Lunchables room and all related material and storage areas.Maintain housekeeping of the area, including cleaning/ sanitizing equipment as needed and at the end of the shiftParticipate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actionsPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move pounds.Sanitation: Will ensure that the equipment and machinery they work with is cleaned and sanitized according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program rules explained at the beginning of the employment and during refresher sessionsQuality Assurance: Ensures all products manufactured align with the Quality Assurance Program and policies reviewed during the on the job training applicable to this specific operation function.Safety: Will follow the Kraft Heinz Safety Process and will keep themself and others away from harm while performing their duties.
