Apply today to join our talent pipeline and receive exclusive invitations for upcoming hiring events!ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Driver at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be part of the transportation team providing exceptional hospitality and safe transportation to residents of Belmont Village Senior Living by driving them to scheduled appointments and on recreational outings using company vehicles which may include a wheelchair van, wheelchair shuttle, and car. You will play a critical role in the day-to-day upkeep and safety inspections for all company vehicles. The ideal Driver candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. Belmont Village Drivers have often had successful careers in other fields and are now looking for a more meaningful role in their second act. As a Driver with Belmont Village Aventura you will excel in a moderately paced, engaging position, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and prioritize exceptional hospitality and safety while helping seniors thrive as they age.YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinancesAssist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair liftActively participate in the day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of the company vehicles which may include fueling and taking vehicles for scheduled service appointmentsAssist with scheduled resident activities as neededAssist with Receptionist or Concierge duties as needed including answering a multi-line phone system and greeting guestsMake hospitality, customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interactionQUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalentValid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
