As a Server you will follow dining room service etiquette for an assigned group of tables and assist with special events in our Independent and Assisted Living community. The ideal Dining Room Server candidate is reliable, detail oriented, and takes pride in anticipating guests needs. Belmont Village Dining Room Servers excel in a fast-paced, personally engaging role and prioritize exceptional hospitality while helping seniors thrive as they age.YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIESProvide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experienceTake accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional mannerEnsure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracyPrepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always readyAssist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village communityMaintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each mealMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be at least 16 years of ageMust be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written EnglishMust be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as neededMust be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team membersDemonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented positionKnowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferredConsistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the communityPlease note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
