Job Title: DishwasherReports to: General ManagerLocation: The Union League/Whitebrier 260 20th St, Avalon, NJ 08202Job Type: SeasonalWe're seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team in a key support role that keeps our kitchen and facility running smoothly. Two shift options are available, each with its own focus. Please indicate your preferred shift when applying.Two Shifts Available:• 10:00am - 2:00pm (Morning)• 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Evening)Morning Shift (10:00am - 2:00pm) - Responsibilities:Take out trash and place in proper dumpstersSpray and clean trash cans with a hoseReturn trash cans to designated areas (bathrooms, etc.)Assist with kitchen deliveries and transport boxes to storageWash dishes left from the previous nightSpray down and clean floor matsTidy up trash and clutter throughout the facilityMaintain the outdoor trash area in an orderly fashionSupport general maintenance projects as neededOther duties as assignedEvening Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) - Responsibilities:Wash all dishes during dinner serviceScrub and clean kitchenware including pots, pans, trays, utensils, and bowlsRemove trash and dispose of it properlyMaintain the outdoor trash area in an orderly fashionClean and spray down kitchen floor matsRestock clean plates and glasswareTidy up trash and clutter throughout the facilityAssisting cooks or prep staff with end-of-day cleanupOther duties as assignedSkills and Requirements:Must be able to lift 25 lbs.Must stand for long periods of timeMust be able to constantly go up and down stairs throughout the dayBending and lifting requiredCompensation:Fair wages; $18/hourEmployee meals - complimentary cafeteriaEnergetic, multi-faceted, family team-oriented atmosphere401K retirement plan with employer match of up to 6%
