Job Description:
**Adecco is hiring!** We're looking for an **Engineering Technician** to support the transition of custom electrical and mechanical designs into build‑ready products for a manufacturing environment. This role helps bridge engineering and production by interpreting schematics, creating clear instructions, and helping ensure products can be successfully migrated into general manufacturing operations. **Pay Rate:** $17/hr **Schedule:** Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM **Primary Responsibilities** + Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and take appropriate action to support product builds + Redline or modify drawings to correct design mistakes or reflect changes + Communicate technical changes in a way that both design engineers and less‑skilled production operators can follow + Physically build higher‑end product solutions when assigned + Lead project teams on the production floor working on specific solutions + Provide team leadership and support throughout project execution + Inspect, test, and evaluate completed products + Recommend improvements to internal quality processes + Identify root causes of design issues and suggest solutions + Create technical work instructions for production use **Job Requirements** **Education:** + Associate's Degree (U.S.) or College Diploma (Canada) **Skills:** 1. Strong written and verbal communication 2. Strong problem‑solving ability 3. General knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering 4. Strong computer skills **Working Environment** Work is primarily performed in a general office environment with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are controlled, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions related to noise, dust, or similar factors. **Physical Requirements** + Mostly sedentary work, with standing and walking up to 10% of the time + May require bending or stooping + Use of hand tools as needed **Mental Requirements** + Ability to analyze and interpret complex data + Ability to perform precise measurements + Strong problem‑solving skills **Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
