Manufacturing Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the technology manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician 1, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring the seamless operation of test equipment and supporting silicon validation processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 1 Location: Austin, TX What's the Job? Set up and support test equipment in the System Level Test lab for new silicon validation. Perform maintenance and calibration of test equipment following established procedures. Conduct software and BIOS updates for testers as part of daily activities. Debug and troubleshoot electronics circuit boards when test failures occur. Prioritize tasks based on work order requests and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support lab operations. What's Needed? Hands-on experience with tester installation and preventive maintenance. Basic knowledge of Linux OS and command-line operations. Knowledge of test equipment maintenance and calibration procedures. Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics background preferred. Experience with liquid cooling systems is a plus. What's in it for me?
