Job Title: Support Lead engineer - MCAD Work location: Austin/Cupertino Duration: 3 month with CTH Pay Range: $40-46/hr Job Description: MCAD: Key Qualifications • Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon Client • User accounts management across multiple account types • Troubleshooting SMB/CIFS network share access and managing mapped drives • Working knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter • Application deployment & software management • HPC Cluster Administration • Knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint or similar tools • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, with an ability to work with different constituencies operating at various skill levels • Thrives in a dynamic work environment, both independently and as a part of a team Desirable Qualifications • FEA & Simulation software knowledge such as Ansys products: Mechanical, Maxwell, HFSS, EDT, OpticStudio/Zemax, Additive Suite, EMC Plus • Networking & VPN diagnosis • Troubleshooting macOS-specific Horizon/Omnissa client issues • Understanding of automated onboarding bots and experience debugging automation failures Key Responsibilities: Own endtoend MCAD user support, service reliability, and operational delivery for engineering applications and virtual desktop environments, while acting as the technical interface between users, infrastructure teams, app vendors, and automation platforms. - Own endtoend MCAD service delivery, acting as the primary escalation lead for Horizon, NX, Teamcenter, Ansys, and related tools. - Lead operational support for VMware/Omnissa Horizon (Windows & macOS), ensuring performance, stability, and user experience. - Oversee deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management of MCAD and simulation applications. - Coordinate HPC cluster access, job execution issues, license usage, and capacity constraints with infra teams. - Manage user accounts, entitlements, licenses, and SMB/CIFS file share access across platforms. - Drive troubleshooting of network, VPN, and connectivity issues impacting VDI and MCAD workloads. - Own and improve automated onboarding workflows; debug and resolve automation failures. - Act as TPM across infra, application, security, and vendor teams to manage dependencies, changes, and risks. - Maintain clear documentation, metrics, and executiveready status reporting on incidents and service health.
