Full-time Day and Part-time Evening Custodian

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including both routine cleaning and specialized tasks.DutiesPerform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Execute floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.Maintain restroom facilities by cleaning and restocking supplies regularly.Assist with residential painting projects when necessary to support facility upkeep.Carry out commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, ensuring high standards of hygiene are met.Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.Act as a porter when required, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment during events or maintenance activities.QualificationsBoiler License is preferred but not required.Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is an advantage.Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving objects as needed.HoursMonday - Friday Evening Shift 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.On sporting event evenings 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.Monday - Friday 8 Hour Day Shift Exact hours to be determinedJoin our team as a Custodian and contribute to creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for allJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $ $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 - 40 per weekBenefits:401(k) matchingEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
