Lead and manage the logistics team to meet daily operational goals safely. Collaborate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, and quality personnel to streamline shipment processes. Compile and assign carrier and route details for optimal logistics management. Track, trace, and update shipment statuses to keep all stakeholders informed. Complete all required training programs to enhance your skill set. Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, while also providing training to team members. Oversee hazardous waste storage and ensure compliance with documentation and procedures. Understand and implement proper procedures for spills and emergency cleanups. Prepare and label hazardous waste shipments accurately to adhere to safety regulations. Provide backup support as needed for shipping and receiving tasks.
