What You Will Do As A Heat Treat Production Associate: Set-up and disassemble loads and/or operate heat treating equipment, such as heat-treating furnaces, vacuum furnaces, and induction machines, that anneal, temper, harden or heat-treat metal objects Set automatic controls, observe gauges, and operate gas or electric furnace used to harden temper, anneal heat treat metal parts Load parts into containers in accordance with load diagrams, closes furnace door, and insert parts into furnace when specified temperature is reached Adjust machine settings with assistance when necessary Remove parts from the furnace after specified time and air-dry/cool parts in water or oil brine Read production schedule to determine processing sequence and furnace temperature requirements for objects to be heat treated Light gas burners and adjusts flow of gas and coolant water What You Need To Be A Heat Treat Production Associate: Ability to read work orders to determine processing specifications Ability to lift up to 20 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations Ability to follow work instructions Take the next step in your career and apply today!
