What You'll Do: As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for: Assisting with the casting and mold preparation of metal components to ensure precise production. Safely handling and pouring molten metal under supervision, adhering to strict safety guidelines. Breaking molds, cleaning castings, and maintaining a clean, organized work area to promote efficiency. Preparing molds, cores, and equipment for each production cycle, ensuring readiness and quality. Operating tools and machinery to support continuous production flow. Following comprehensive safety protocols and using PPE correctly to maintain a safe working environment. Performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, demonstrating physical stamina. Supporting maintenance activities and working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets. What You'll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have: A high school diploma or GED (preferred). 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related settings (preferred but not mandatory-training provided). Willingness to learn and develop skills in foundry operations. Physical strength and stamina to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and perform demanding tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and a good attitude. Ability to work safely in a hot, dusty environment. Reliable work ethic and a positive attitude-no prior foundry experience required!
