Job Description:
Responsibilities: Understand and follow work instructions and control plans Maintain an organized clean work environment and positively impact the plant's safety initiatives Conduct PLC Ladder Logic troubleshooting, hardware troubleshooting, programming and analog inputs & outputs Conduct troubleshooting repair & replacement of AC & DC motors & drives Perform basic programming & troubleshooting of robotic equipment Instruct team members on robotic Paths & I/O & Interfacing Train and develop team members Assist Automation Engineers and other Departments during the development, installation and programming of Line upgrades and Line installations REQUIREMENTS: Education High School Diploma or Equivalent AAS Degree with an Automation or Robotics emphasis preferred Experience 3-5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance Other Requirements Must be willing to enroll and complete established on-site or off-site training when offered Demonstrated understanding of basic concepts, programming, & troubleshooting of CNC Servo Controls, Encoders & Resolvers Valid driver's license required for travel to other Carlex Facilities or Training locations Must demonstrate excellent attendance, attitude, and decision-making skills Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays Work 12-hour shifts on a 3-2-2-3 schedule KEY COMPETENCIES: Basic experience level with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to set priorities and goals Self-Starter with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Ability and willingness to uphold the Carlex Values of Safety, Customer Focused, Teamwork, Excellence and Trust Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
