Job Description:
Purpose: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations and delivering comprehensive HR services across the organization. This role serves as a key partner to employees and leaders, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and practices that support business objectives, employee engagement, compliance, and a positive workplace culture. The HR Generalist serves as support for several critical human resources functions including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits education and administration, and employee experience and engagement. Job Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for employees' HR-related questions and guidance Support full-cycle recruitment including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes Administer employee benefits programs and respond to benefit-related inquiries Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies, including workplace postings Responsible for HRIS maintenance and reporting, as well as implementing system updates when applicable Assist in developing and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee communications Track and report on key HR metrics and workforce data Assist with employee engagement initiatives and culture-building efforts Support employee offboarding processes including documentation Administer and maintain the HR Core Process including procedures, templates and How To's. Daily administration and oversight of employee benefits including open enrollment, qualifying events, and invoicing. Correspond and coordinate efficient and effective resolutions to benefit service issues, eligibility issues, and plan maintenance with benefit providers. Support benefit providers including medical, and supplemental products with annual census and utilization reporting. Also ensure required annual notices are distributed and recorded. In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Specialists, draft and maintain role descriptions consistent with the HR Core Process. Responsible for maintaining and updating the firm's accountability chart. Responsible for the maintenance of HR Box folders including the paperless personnel records Conduct new hire background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Support PSC processing, Series 65 test preparation, and provide administrative support as needed to Credent's LEAD program Work with all other team members in a way that is conducive to the mission, values, and beliefs of the company to provide customer service beyond expectations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Working knowledge of employment law and HR policies and best practices Highly detailed, accurate, and organized Adaptable and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management/administration or related field Experience: 0-3 year of Human Resources experience
