Job Description:
This is an onsite role requiring 5 days per week in Auburn Hills, MI. + Reads blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, measuring instruments, and operational instructions to provide support for testing activities. + Evaluates laboratory support activity results and may review data for conformance with specifications.. + Operates designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed. + Responds to user requests to repair and/or modify existing laboratory instrumentation, automated systems and test fixtures. + As applicable, records observed or calculated data on appropriate UL forms as the record of laboratory support activities. + May plan laboratory support activities, and evaluate results, as directed. + Performs routine maintenance on existing laboratory instrumentation, automated systems and test fixtures using established procedures. + Ensures both new and existing test systems meet safety requirements and compliance with the local laws. + Designs and builds test fixtures. + Read and follow the UL Standards of Business Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices + Performs other duties as directed. + High School Diploma or GED required. + 3-5 years of experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, manufacturing equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or similar. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to use hand and power tools. + Welding experience preferred. What we offer: + Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-67,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country.
