Additionally, this position will attend job fairs and pursue any internal and external opportunities to meet potential candidates and gain exposure for Auburn University as an employer. This position will also serve as an important advocates to university departments for employment search processes, ensuring adherence to employment laws, University policies, and recruitment/hiring procedures.This position is located in Auburn, Alabama and working onsite is a requirement of the job.Formal AU title: Specialist, Talent AcquisitionResponsibilities Partners with hiring managers and campus HR to provide consultative talent acquisition services, including recruitment strategy development, candidate engagement, and search management. Maintains consistent communication to ensure timely progress and alignment throughout the process. Screens and evaluates applicants to assess qualifications, conducts pre-screen interviews, and advances qualified candidates through the recruitment process Posts and advertises positions using appropriate job boards, social media, and outreach channels. Represents the university at career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment initiatives. Advises hiring managers, campus HR, and search committees to ensure compliance with federal, state, and university employment regulations. Serves as subject matter expert for the applicant tracking system (ATS), administering postings, managing recruitment workflows, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users. Contributes to the development and delivery of talent acquisition training and leads special projects and initiatives to enhance recruitment effectiveness and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, employment processes, human resources or career services. Why Work at Auburn?
