About the RoleThe Outlet Cashier is responsible for a knowledge of all tender methods and register/computer functions while organizing, counting, and sorting all paperwork and/or currency while ensuring that the highest guest service level is being met.Position ResponsibilitiesResponsible for register bank and all money, charges and comps collected during your shiftKnowledge of all methods of checking tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit cards & gift certificates, etc.)Familiar with the menu items, pricing, hours of operation and current specials with daily operationCommunicate with & promote positive co-worker & guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, Departments, & guestsMaintain established company and Departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all timesMaintain a clean and organized work station at all timesSide work duties must be completed as assigned and also completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely mannerEssential FunctionsExposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environmentKnowledge of basic arithmeticMust be able to work weekends, holidays and varied hours.Must have manual dexterity to allow for inputting of data into computer software and be capable of viewing computer monitors for extended periods of timeThe ability to push and or lift 25 lbs or more.
