Position: Fire Alarm TechnicianLocation: Marietta, GAEmployment Type: Permanent / Full-TimePay: Starting at $50-$60/hr/$100k-$125k/y (Open to discuss)About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, program, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial and residential settings. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of fire alarm systems and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, program, and update fire alarm systems in commercial buildingsPerform inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on fire alarm systemsTroubleshoot and repair existing alarm systemsEnsure systems are installed and functioning in compliance with applicable codes and standardsComplete detailed inspection and service reports, documenting deficiencies and corrective actionsRespond to emergency service calls as requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentQualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or GEDNICET Certification - Level II or higher (Mandatory Requirement)Experience working with commercial and/or residential fire alarm systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsValid driver's licensePreferredKnowledge of NFPA standards (including NFPA 70 and NFPA 72)Experience with inspections, programming, and system commissioningPhysical RequirementsAbility to climb ladders and stairs frequentlyAbility to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbsAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time)Why Join?Opportunity to work on a variety of projects and systemsStable, full-time role with hands-on field experienceWork in a safety-focused and professional environment
