Assistant Property Manager - Retail PortfolioLocation: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid Schedule) Our client, a well-established, owner-operated real estate investment and management firm, is seeking a Senior Assistant Property Manager to support a portfolio of retail shopping centers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded organization with a strong ownership presence and long-term investment strategy. Retail property experience is required for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of a retail portfolio, including shopping centers and retail assetsServe as a primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring strong relationships and a high level of service across retail environmentsAssist with lease administration, including abstracts, renewals, co-tenancy tracking, and critical date managementCoordinate maintenance, vendors, and service contracts, ensuring work orders are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to tenants and customersReview and code invoices; assist with budgeting, forecasting, CAM reconciliations, and variance reportingSupport monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes for retail assetsConduct routine property inspections to ensure asset appearance, safety, and operational standards are maintainedAssist with tenant build-outs, retail turnovers, and capital improvement projectsPartner closely with vendors, tenants, and internal teams to support daily operations and overall asset performanceQualifications3+ years of commercial property management experience, specifically within retail shopping centers or retail propertiesStrong understanding of retail lease administration, including CAM, co-tenancy, and tenant relationsExperience supporting institutional-quality retail assets preferredProficiency with property management software (Yardi, MRI, or similar)Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, tenant-focused environmentBachelor's degree preferredWhat Sets This Opportunity ApartDirect exposure to ownership within a vertically integrated firmStable, long-term retail portfolio with a strong presence in the Atlanta marketCollaborative team environment with opportunity for advancementCompetitive compensation and benefits packageDisclaimer: This job description is intended to outline the general responsibilities and qualifications for the role; however, duties and requirements may be subject to change based on business needs.
