AMERICORPS: Boys & Girls Club, Club Corps For over 80 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) has ignited the unlimited potential of children and teens by creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments. Our 25 Clubs, located in 9 counties across metropolitan Atlanta, have traditionally served nearly 8,000 kids & teens (ages 6-18) each year, offering youth development programs during critical non-school hours that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character & leadership development. Member Duties : Club Corps members serve in Boys & Girls Clubs as tutors, mentors, role models, and youth development leaders. As a Club Corps member, you will foster improved academic performance, social-emotional development, and college and career readiness among members. You will provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring and mentoring, homework help, support positive behavior, lead after-school programs, and organize activities that enhance an overall positive Club climate. As Club Corps Leaders, you are uniquely positioned to support the academic success of Club members.
