Senior Estimator

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a growing civil construction contractor in the Atlanta market. They are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong estimating experience in heavy civil and site development projects who can lead bid efforts, develop accurate cost estimates, and support successful project pursuits.Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction and site development projectsReview plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate project pricingAnalyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costsCoordinate and solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliersIdentify project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunitiesCollaborate with operations and project management teams during preconstruction and bid phasesAssist with budgeting, conceptual estimating, and project planningMaintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clientsManage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentParticipate in bid reviews, proposal preparation, and turnover meetingsQualifications:5+ years of estimating experience within heavy civil, site development, or infrastructure constructionStrong understanding of civil construction means and methodsExperience estimating projects involving grading, utilities, roadwork, excavation, and sitework preferredAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsProficiency with estimating software and construction management platformsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredMy client offers competitive compensation, strong benefits, and long-term growth opportunities with a respected civil contractor in the Atlanta area.
