Reports to the CEO of the U.S. entityDirect reports: 4 supervisorsWorking Locations: On site, Atlanta GA OverviewOur client, a leading provider of specialized heavy equipment for land clearing, vegetation management and construction equipment, is seeking a Director of Strategic Execution & Governance to oversee the integrated management of operational, financial, and organizational functions within its U.S. operations. This role carries direct accountability for business performance, ensuring sustainable, customer-focused growth aligned with Group strategy.The position serves as a strategic partner to the CEO, contributing to key decisions and resource allocation, and offers a clear path toward broader general management responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Performance GovernanceOverall responsibility for the branch's operational resultsOversee and integrate the following functions:Accounting (AR/AP)Finance and cash flow managementControlling (in coordination with HQ)Logistics and warehouse operationsProduction (product configuration and preparation)MaintenanceDefine and monitor economic, operational, and organizational KPIsSupport the CEO in strategic planning and resource allocationFinance, Cash Flow & Working Capital OversightProvide governance (non-executive ownership) over:EBITCash flowWorking capitalOptimize inventory planning to:Ensure commercial responsivenessMaintain financial balance and alignment with HQ requirementsCoordinate with external CPA and Group finance functionsHR Governance & Organizational DevelopmentOversee HR at a governance levelDirectly manage the local HR SpecialistSupervise:Recruiting and onboardingOrganizational design and role structuringOrganizational development initiativesDrive internalization and improvement of HR processes (including payroll where applicable)Strengthen employee engagement and contribute to reducing turnoverLegal & Contractual CoordinationCoordinate with external legal advisors on:Commercial disputesCommercial contractsHR-related legal mattersStandardize and streamline contractual frameworksDevelopment, Expansion & HQ InterfacePlan and manage the structural development of the U.S. entityCoordinate with HQ and assigned project stakeholdersMaintain ongoing interaction with:Group AccountingGroup ControllingSenior leadershipContribute to reducing operational and cultural gaps between U.S. operations and HQExecutive CommitteeThe position will be part of the Executive Committee that reports to the CEO - With the scope of: Strategic Execution and Alignment; Operational Leadership and Coordination.Required Qualifications and BackgroundBachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)Significant professional experience in the United StatesExperience in:Strategy consulting (top-tier or equivalent) and/orBusiness operations, performance management, or governance rolesCombination of strategic and hands-on operational experienceIndustry experience is a plusEnglish language: Executive LevelFluency in Italian (mandatory)Resident in Atlanta area or willing to relocate to the area.Core CompetenciesStrong business and commercial acumen applied to operational decision-makingCustomer-oriented mindsetAnalytical and problem-solving capabilitiesHigh level of credibility, transparency, and accountabilityEffective leadership with strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skillsAbility to align local execution with HQ strategic priorities
