Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Athens, OHPosition Type: Permanent Location: Athens, OH Specialty: Emergency Medicine (EM) / Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience Setting: Emergency Department ---Position OverviewAn established physician-led organization is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician "” or a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience "” to join a growing emergency department team in Athens, Ohio.This is a full-time permanent position with the option to work as a W2 employee or 1099 independent contractor.---Assignment DetailsAnnual ED Volume: 28,000 visits Beds in ED: 22 Coverage: 24 hours/day physician (12-hour shifts) APP Coverage: 36 hours/day EMR: Epic Local relocation or residency within the area may be required ---RequirementsBoard Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with EM experience Minimum 12 months or 2,000 hours of Emergency Medicine experience Active or in-process Ohio medical license Clean malpractice and licensing history Current DEA (required prior to start) Proof of COVID vaccination Experience performing core emergency procedures (must be listed at submission) ---Compensation & StructureIndependent Contractor (1099): xijylhu $250/hour W2 Employee: $240/hour Night Shift Differential: Additional $10/hour for all-night coverage W2 Benefits Include: Health, dental, and vision insurance with HSA $250K group life insurance policy 401(k) with company contribution $3,000 CME allowance ---ScheduleShifts: 12-hour blocks (day/night blend; all nights optional) Weekend Coverage: Rotating schedule ---Permanent Opportunity | Emergency Medicine - Athens, OH
