This role supports Generation, Transmission, Renewables and Canals projects by providing EHS oversight for Contractors. This individual will work with site EHS teams to ensure coverage in each region for all work being performed.Skills:There is a strong preference for Hydropower generation, transmission and high voltage EH&S experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in implementing/executing EH&S programs. Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines covering safety, health and environmental aspects. - Incident Investigation (RCA - Root Cause Analysis) trained - Knowledge of Power Generation, transmission systems, renewables and components.Ability to work on multiple projects/Tasks concurrently. - Knowledge of and experience with workplace hazards for construction, electric utility, transmission substations and right of ways.Ability to work closely with site/region leadership in a matrixed fashion. Physical Requirements: Ability to enter confined spaces and areas with limited access. - Ability to move safely over uneven terrain and within confined spaces. - Ability to visually identify and appropriately respond to hazardous or dangerous situations. - Ability to wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator.
