Compact licensure accepted.One year of home health physical therapy experience preferred.Experience with OASIS documentation preferred.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and skilled treatment in home settings, including use of adaptive equipment and supervision of PTAs/PT aides in accordance with state practice act.Maintain timely evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation per company, facility, funding source, and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop measurable, individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals.Use appropriate assessment tools and re-assess regularly to measure progress and modify plans as needed.Communicate patient needs and progress with the treatment team, physicians, patients, and families as appropriate.Recommend and assist in obtaining adaptive equipment to improve patient function and incorporate equipment into therapy.Provide supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides as allowed by state practice act.Comply with HIPAA, corporate compliance, company policies, and applicable state and federal laws. Preferred Previous home care electronic health record experience, including OASIS.Home Care/Home Base familiarity.
