Your Role and Responsibilities As a Senior Oracle Financials Consultant, you will: Lead functional tracks for Oracle Cloud ERP engagements, bringing your expertise to the forefront. Provide in-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials, including GL, AP, AR, Tax, Collections, Expenses, FA, and CM modules. Utilize your strong understanding of the Chart of Accounts to lead redesign efforts, evaluate financial reporting needs, and oversee month-end and year-end closings. Apply your sound accounting knowledge to offer solutions based on established accounting principles and rules. Ensure project tasks and deliverables are completed on time, maintaining the highest quality standards. Engage in workshops with clients to gather and define business requirements effectively. Conduct gap analyses to identify differences between delivered functionality and client requirements, providing actionable solutions. Document gaps, issues, and solution processes clearly and concisely. Map customer business processes to Oracle Cloud Applications effectively. Configure Oracle modules to align with customer business practices. Facilitate the migration of financial data from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud Applications. Prepare functional designs for all technical objects, ensuring clarity and precision. Develop comprehensive testing scenarios and test scripts, leading unit, integration, and acceptance testing. Ensure thorough knowledge transfer and facilitate learning opportunities. As of March 2025, AST (Applications Software Technology) will be integrated into IBM as part of an acquisition, with your recruitment process managed by IBM, which will be the hiring entity. This position offers the flexibility to be performed remotely across the United States. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Proven expertise in core Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Tax, Collections, FA, and CM). Strong grasp of general accounting principles. Significant experience in Oracle Cloud Applications implementations. A minimum of 5 years in ERP Implementation, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations as Module Lead. Experience in business process consulting, system integration testing, training, and production deployment. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and engage with others. Strong initiative and independence, while also being a collaborative team player. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Willingness to travel as project or organizational needs dictate. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience None specified.
