Pride Health is hiring a "Phlebotomist Floater" to support our client's medical facility-based "Arlington, VA 22204" This is a 5-6 Month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Position Name: Phlebotomist floaterLocation:Arlington, VA 22204Pay rate: $19.85/hr- $21.79/hrDuration: 2-3 months with possible extensionShift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday - 9am - 5:30pm Thursday - 11am - 6:30pmRequired: Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant Certification with Phlebotomy trainingJob Description:Job Summary:The Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist floater serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.Working at doctor's offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.Experience:5 year of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).Equal Employment OpportunityPride-Health is an equal opportunity employer.
