This role plays a critical part in cost accounting, financial analysis, inventory management, and month‑end close, partnering closely with plant leadership to drive operational and financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cost accounting activities, including standard cost maintenance, BOM review, and variance analysisAnalyze actual costs vs. standard costs; monitor purchase price variance (PPV)Support inventory accounting, reserves, and reconciliationsPrepare journal entries and assist with month‑end close and financial reportingReview manufacturing variances and cost center reporting with managementTrack capital expenditures and complete monthly capital roll‑forwardAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and labor efficiency reportingPrepare required internal and external reports, including dairy inventory and loss/damage trackingEnsure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with internal controlsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Plant ControllerQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory managementProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required)Experience in food or aseptic manufacturing environments preferredStrong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skillsHigh level of integrity, discretion, and reliabilityWhat We OfferAt KanPak®, we invest in our associates and support both personal and professional growth.
