Job Coach

A Job Coach provides vocational and programmatic support to program participants at community-based work sites and at VPI locations.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvide job support to individuals.Assist individuals with reaching their goals.Help individuals in achieving independence and creating successful employment outcomes.Develop relationships with individuals, employers, other team members, and service providers.Transport clients to and from worksites.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWork performed includes sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, stooping, lifting/carrying (up to 50 pounds without assistance), pushing/pulling, reaching below shoulder level, and reaching overhead. Functions are considered light to moderate according to the US Bureau of Labor.JOB QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent.Related experience is preferred, but VPI is willing to train.
