Position Type: Community Ed - Aquatics/Aquatics - Water Safety Aide Date Posted: 1/1/2026 Location: ESC - Community Education - Community Schools Closing Date: 12/31/2026 Water Safety Aides Part-Time - Casual hours as needed Duties: Responsible for aiding Water Safety Instructors and instructing Levels 1, 2, and 3 in the America Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in swimming at all levels of aquatic ability. Ability to work with large groups of people. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building/site.
