Position Overview In this role, you’ll design metal stamping dies, from simple one-hit tools to complex progressive and transfer systems, working alongside sales, toolmakers, and production to bring sophisticated tooling concepts to life. What You’ll Do Engineer innovative metal stamping die solutions, from simple one-hit tools to complex progressive and transfer systems Drive early-stage concept development by partnering with the estimating team to create competitive, manufacturable designs Collaborate cross-functionally with toolmakers, and production to move projects efficiently from concept to completion Lead and contribute to customer-facing design reviews Assist in tool debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance Continuously improve tooling performance, manufacturability, and internal processes What We’re Looking For Proven experience designing metal stamping dies, including progressive Strong CAD proficiency, preferably SolidWorks and surfacing Deep understanding of stamping processes, material flow, and die construction Strategic thinker who considers cost, manufacturability, serviceability, and long-term tool performance Confident communicator comfortable leading technical discussions and customer design reviews Collaborative mindset with the ability to drive projects forward Detail-oriented problem solver who takes ownership from concept through completion Why Join Victory Tool?
