Position Type: Summer Worker/Summer Secretary Date Posted: 2/2/2026 Location: Multiple District Sites Closing Date: 06/12/2026 SECRETARIES - EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (ESY) PROGRAM for elementary and secondary sites Multiple positions available. DATES & SUMMER HOURS: June 10 - Teacher set-up day June 15 - June 18, Monday thru Friday, 4.5 hours per day June 22 - June 25, Monday thru Friday, 4.5hours per day HOURS: 8:45 am - 1:15 pm / Student contact hours are 9:10am - 12:10pm Additional hours during the week of June 8th for set-up and required training. Up to 60 additional hours upon approval for planning and/or coordinating either center based ESY or resource ESY & Targeted Services special education supports with the majority of hours completed during months leading up to the summer session. Assignments will be made based on student needs. SITES: Elementary ESY Center based Sites: Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy, Jefferson Elementary School, Ramsey Elementary School Elementary Targeted Services & ESY Resource Sites: Andover Elementary School, Sand Creek Elementary School, Wilson Elementary School, Oxbow Creek Elementary School Secondary Sites: Anoka High, Jackson Middle School, Transition Program(s) Setting IV Sites for K-12: River Trail Learning Center PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Receptionist - point of contact for the site. Provide general clerical support for ESY site including: Answering phones; attendance; contacting parents; copying; staff support, manage student information database (updates, class rosters, and enrollment, etc.), and other duties as assigned by Summer Building Leader. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Good communication and public relation skills; knowledge of Synergy system preferred. Must be physically working in the building. RATE OF PAY: New Hires $19.05/hour. Current Secretaries accepting summer school secretarial employment shall be paid at their regular rate through their summer assignment. Summer employment does not affect eligibility for insurance, vacation, sick leave, or any other benefit. Assignments will be made based on students needs. There is no sick leave or vacation for summer staff.
