The ISSO will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems by developing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures. Responsibilities include monitoring security activities, conducting audits, managing system authorizations, and collaborating with team members to respond to potential threats. This position also involves maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and providing security training as needed.QualificationsProficient in Information Systems and Network Security concepts and practicesStrong knowledge of Cybersecurity and Information Security principles and frameworksExperience in Physical Security protocols and proceduresFamiliarity with risk management and compliance standards in the government domainEffective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teamsActive security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is requiredBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferredRelevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CISM are a plus
