Job Requisition: DIREC001415 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Hiring Range: Starting at salary of $90,000.00 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities: Leads all areas of mission integration; leads the Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Strategy processes and community benefit programs. Provides guidance and direction on Mission advancement and community outreach. Participates in development of the organization's vision, policies, short-term and long-term objectives. Fosters ongoing relationships and communications with the diocesan bishop and other church leaders and organizations, including parishes. Leads the development and integration of spirituality in the workplace, chaplain support, cancer prevention grants, volunteers, and community benefit programs. Oversees evaluation, design and implementation of strategies and systems to support mission advancement and community outreach priorities. Recommends new and revised policies, procedures and initiatives and ensures that they are formally communicated and administered. Evaluates the function and structure of assigned areas to best determine the allocation and utilization of services and budgets appropriately according to strategic goals. Supports and drives organizational change initiatives, with special emphasis on those that impact mission advancement. Responsible for working with the Human Resources Department in the hiring/interview/onboarding process. Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. Trains, coaches, and evaluates assigned staff on performance expectations. Applies progressive discipline when appropriate. Participates in hiring and termination procedures. Completes annual and probationary evaluations and required associate job competency documentation. Responsible for managing the review and approval of the timekeeping system, including but not limited to, time off requests, and bi-weekly payroll sign-off. Responsible for managing staff meal breaks to be in compliance with NYS labor law. Additional Responsibilities: Chair of Ethics Committee, Coordinates Language/Interpretation and Translation services. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:Education, Training & Experience: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum seven (7) years of experience required. Ten (10) years of experience preferred. Five (5) years of leadership or management experience preferred.
