We invite you to join us in our vision of "Making Lives Better!"Essential duties and responsibilities:Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care languageProvide screening and assessment to individuals (adults and adolescents) with substance use/abuse related issues and determine appropriate treatment (in-patient or our patient) for such individualsRefer clients to appropriate agencies providing substance use/abuse treatmentDetermining priority of individuals on waiting list for in-patient treatmentScheduling appointments for OSAR servicesProviding appropriate follow-up services with clients in out-patient treatmentEntering data in CMBHS in a timely mannerMeets productivity standards as set forth by OSAR, supervisor and center managementSubmits all client data, time sheets, travel requests, leave requests, purchase requisitions, and special reports to Administration in accordance with agency procedures and within the time frames specifiedWorks as part of the on-call rotationMaintain training as required by the OSAR contract and by the agencyProvide services to regional clinics as required by the OSAR contractCoordinate services with probation departments, courts, and other agencies as necessaryAttends training as required by agency standardsIntervenes when necessary using verbal PMAB, CPR, and First Aid as neededPerforms other essential functions and tasks necessary to carry out the purposes of the position.Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromisedRequired qualifications to be successful in the job:Must have an LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor) license to qualify as a Qualified Credentialed Counselor (QCC) in the state of TexasLicense must be current and in good standingHigh school diploma or GEDOne semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work; or minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE)Graduate work in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experienceEmployees may be required to utilize their personal mobile phones for two-factor authentication (2FA).
