Material Mover / Packaging (1st Shift) Salary Range: $20.21 - $23.00 Hourly Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: First Shift Education Level: High School Category: Warehouse Description We are currently seeking a dedicated Material Mover for our warehouse facility in Alton, IL. The ideal candidate will be attentive to details, promote a safe-working environment, and have great organizational skills. Starting at $20.21/hour and higher based on experience. Essential Functions: Verify product quantities, item numbers and packaging requirements against order documents for accurate packaging. Prepare and enter packed orders into the designated system to generate appropriate labels and shipping documents. Operated forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load and unload products. Perform daily forklift and equipment inspections and immediately report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor. Keeps work areas clean and organized and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
