Job Details - CRNA Jobs in Michigan / Locum Tenens Anesthesia Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,530 - $7,930 Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Locum Tenens / PRN Location: Alma, MI (48801) - Central Michigan; CRNA jobs Michigan Start Date: July 15, 2026 Duration: 52 weeks Shift: 8-hour days (7am-3pm) Shifts per Week: 5 (40 hours/week) Call Schedule: OB call only, 3pm-7am (30-minute response time) Supervision Model: Team model (MDs and CRNAs), approx. 90% supervision Operating Rooms: 4 ORs EMR: Epic (experience preferred) Job Requirements - CRNA Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a CRNA in acute care or perioperative anesthesia (including OB experience) Active, unrestricted CRNA license (Michigan or eligible for Michigan licensure) Current AHA-issued ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Clear background and malpractice history (credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days; temporary privileges may be available) Case logs required (documentation of epidurals and spinals) Experience with Epic EMR preferred Responsibilities - Anesthesia Provider / Perioperative Care Provide general and regional anesthesia care across a diverse case mix: Endoscopy, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Urology, ENT, General Surgery, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Vascular, Trauma, and Ophthalmology Perform and document spinals, epidurals, and regional nerve blocks as indicated Conduct preoperative assessments, develop individualized anesthesia plans, and educate patients and families Monitor intraoperative patient status, manage hemodynamics, and facilitate smooth emergence from anesthesia Respond to OB call coverage per schedule with a 30-minute response time Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing, and perioperative staff as part of the anesthesia care team Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR and adhere to institutional policies and safety protocols Why Join This Locum Tenens CRNA Role in Alma, MI Long-term PRN/locum tenens opportunity for CRNAs seeking stability with schedule flexibility Work with a supportive anesthesia team in a community-focused hospital Diverse perioperative and OB case exposure to expand clinical skills and case logs Competitive weekly pay and a predictable day-shift schedule This locum tenens CRNA assignment is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRNAs seeking a long-term PRN role in a supportive Michigan community.
