Hormel Foods – General Production LaborerLocation: Alma, KSShift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2PM-10:30PM; extended hours and weekends may be required)The General Laborer supports daily production operations at Alma Foods by performing a variety of manual tasks in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools as trained. Monitor product quality and report any defects or concerns immediately. Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with food safety and OSHA standards. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and plant policies. Support sanitation tasks such as cleaning equipment, floors, and workstations as needed. Perform routine material handling, including lifting, moving, and stacking products or supplies. Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets. Complete any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to maintain efficient plant operations. QualificationsRequired: Perform repetitive hand & wrist motion throughout a shift. Lift/push/pull 50+lbs as required (Occasional) Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods to perform job related tasks. Kneel/squat as necessary to complete job-related tasks. Grasping & pinching motions to complete job-related tasks Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
