Job Title: Warehouse SupervisorLocation: Alexandria, MNCompensation: $23.00-$25.00 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: 1st ShiftJob Type: Temp-to-hire About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Warehouse Supervisors for a leading machine manufacturing company located in Alexandria, MN. What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Supervisor: Control the movement and storage of materials within the plant and process the associated transactions, including shipping, receiving, and picking  Use an automated system to direct and optimize stock put away based on real-time information about the status of bin utilization Monitor the progress of products through the plant Control the physical warehouse infrastructure, tracking systems and communication between product stations Mange the receipt, storage and movement of goods, normally finished goods, to intermediate storage locations or to final customer Ship parts to customers per delivery schedule; verify correct parts with prints for identification application  Package and load parts on trucks for shipment to customers Write up Bill of Landing What You Need to Bring to the Warehouse Supervisor Role: Associate’s degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; or 2+ years of related experience and/or on the job training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community Ability to effectively present information to top management Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute and analyze bar graphs Why You’ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
